Internal Flash needed help, Nikon???
Thanks in advance! I am not a Strobist, and need help! I'm using a Nikon D50, and has called for take some photos of high school wrestling. 1) Flash: I have an external drive, so I am considering SB-400 SB-600. Since the maximum gym are so high, I am assuming that bounces in the beginning does not help. I do not pay me for this, so I can not get to spend much $ $ $, but I want to be decent. Is light speed will be much better than the camera flash? (I will be on the table, which is 40 'wide – so most shots were w / in 20') Also, if I get an outside, should buy or build a bounce card? 2) outside the flash issue, but: If I had to try to sell reprints to parents, what are legal issues) in the case of a single injection of the person cut 1 (which may or may not be a minor) b) if someone else (Ref, other wrestler) is in the picture) 3) I want some photos to be mostly black and white, but a little color, how do I do ????? (just kidding)
I do not think any of your flash will be very helpful here. Bounce only works well Nice enclosed spaces with low (<10 ') ceilings. You could point the flash right in the fighters, but which can be covered! You are probably facing a situation of natural light, so you are either going to need a lens or a quick hit of the ISO of his camera up. I set my camera on aperture priority as much openness as possible (ie, the smallest number). This way you can use some fast shutter speeds and really capture the action. Ideally, you need a Nice lens sports, but will run thousands of dollars. If you want to invest in a cheap lens to get good shots in the light then I recommend this one.
