Canon Vs Nikon Metering
Cannon Rebel vs. Nikon N80 vs Pentax ZX-M?

I'm taking a photography class at the school and the need for a 35mm SLR camera. I'm fine taking account the Canon EOS Rebel or the Nikon N80 or the Pentax ZX-M. Cannon and Nikon are the brands most familiar to me, but I was wondering if the Pentax has unique qualities? Want to something not too complicated to work. Can you give me some pros and cons of these cameras and what would be best for a beginning photography class? The three will do what you want to do, but I personally I would go with N80 (F80), because it is a great camera. Much of the first high-end Digital Cameras like the Nikon D100, Fuji S2 Pro and Kodak DCS-14N is based on body N80. The Canon is also good, but if prices are almost the same, once again I would buy the N80. Check out the two links below for a good review the N80 and EOS Rebel G. Pentax is a camera very well too, but have more difficulty finding Pentax lenses and accessories, as it was not as popular as the Nikon or Canon. For the first two responses (posts), I think they are confusing the EOS Rebel XS (35mm) with the Digital Rebel XS.
