Canon Camera Flash Brackets

Where can I get an external flash for Canon IXUS 50?
Hello, I once saw a picture of a sort of reinforcement of external flash for a Canon Digital IXUS 50. It took place in the main body of the chamber with a base of some kind. It was written that the flash is more powerful than the built-in flash. I searched throughout the network for this image again, but can not find. I've been in dozens of photo sites, Canon, etc, but all in vain. I saw only for a moment as I had to go to another page. I'd like to check out my camera. My wife thinks it must have been a dream, but I know I saw him. Thank you. Tony.
No official Canon products. You may have seen a Contax g camera that has a finish similar to the IXUS cameras and has a very compact flash shoe. The only current Canon compact that are suitable for external flashes are G-7, G9 and soon to be released G-10. The other option is to obtain a small slave flash and extension support. You can obtain a feasible set for £ 30, but agree on terms usual and mean finush some hits and getting the right flash exposures. If you want more control then a camera like the Canon is not the best starting point.
